Recycling Policy

This mobile phone recycling service is provided by Envirofone, part of Eazyfone Ltd (Company Reg No: 4155766) whose registered offices are at Guildford House, Heather Close, Lyme Green Business Park, Macclesfield, Cheshire, SK11 0LR. Eazyfone Ltd is a for-profit company. It is not a not-for-profit organisation or a charity.

Environmental Policy

Eazyfone Ltd's business model aims to recover mobile phones for reuse and recycling. We aim to provide a sustainable solution by recovering phones for reuse, and recycling those phones that cannot be reused. In this manner we hope to help divert some of the thousands of tonnes of waste that is sent to landfill every year.

Eazyfone Ltd's Environmental Policy aims to meet the requirements of relevant legislation and regulations related to our operations and their impact on the environment. As an ISO 14001 accredited organisation we aim to meet the ISO 14001:2004 standards requirements and embrace it's ethos of continual improvement. We recognise the importance of government agencies such as DEFRA and the Environment Agency and aim to work with them where possible to ensure a cooperative relationship.

Continual Improvement

In order to improve our positive environmental impacts, we aim to continually achieve the following:

• Public education on the benefits of mobile phone reuse and recycling.
• Use of best practice to ensure mobile phones are reused as a priority over recycling.
• Use of best practice in recycling mobile phones unsuitable for reuse.
• Communication of our key objectives and policies to interested parties.
• Management of our reliance on landfill by reducing, reusing and recycling where possible.
• Management of our CO2 emissions by considering and reviewing our activities.
• Training to develop an environmental culture amongst staff.
• Review this policy on an annual basis to ensure it meets our company ethos.
